PET-CO Terms

General terms/conditions.

1) Our number one priority is to dispatch your products as fast as possible.

2) All sizes, colours and designs are approximate, as we rely on third parties for that information.

3)  Product alternatives can be sent, of the same basic specification and quality, but the appearance / shape or size may vary, this is due to the manufacturers changing or modifying their new product lines on a regular basis.

4)  Orders can be part full-filled, and part refunded.

5)  Orders cannot be cancelled or altered in anyway, when we start processing your order.

6)  UK Delivery times are to be used as a guide, but can be subject to change. Delivery costs are to be used as a guide, but can be subject to change including but not exclusively Highland and Islands.

7)  We will be happy to refund a product up to a 7-day period, provided (in the case of any non-defective products) it is returned in its original, undamaged packaging. Then you will receive a returns number (Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return(s) which does not include a returns authorisation number). Your refund will be for the product(s) not any postage costs.

8)  Any parcel(s) that are not delivered due to the following reasons including but not exclusively, Incomplete or incorrect addresses given / customer’s absence or not being able to gain access to the delivery address, will be charged, a second dispatch charge.

9)  Any products delivered to you damaged, or with manufacturing faults, must be reported to us, within 24 hours of you receiving your order. Then you will receive a returns number (Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number). When we receive the products(s) and they have been inspected, you will then receive a full refund. The returns postage: Product(s) up to 2kg we refund the equivalent of second class. Product(s) over 2kg we refund the equivalent of a standard parcel.

10) Items with a * (Asterisk symbol), are excluded from our 7-day money back policy. Items with a * are usually dispatched within 2-3 days, once we are in possession of the good(s), from the manufacturers. Products that are stock items, but require a special order to fulfil the customers’ requirements, are excluded from our 7-day money back guarantee.

11) Out of stock items can be used to pay for any additional shipping costs, for your main order. 

12) Please note that for Health and Safety reasons we are unable to accept returns and/or exchanges on including but not exclusively any, body protectors / riding hats / skull caps or saddles.

We recommend that you have a fitting prior to purchasing online.

13) Any items returned in less than perfect condition, you will be invoiced for the shipping costs, to be paid within 14 days, and we will then return them to you.

14) Due to health hazard and hygiene problems involved with the assessment of equestrian clothing and associated product(s), It is unfortunate that we are unable to handle any product(s) unless they are clean and dry.

15) Claims can only be made after 15 working days (3 weeks) have elapsed from dispatch. If you still have not received your parcel; you will receive a full refund for the item(s).

The reason we ask you to wait, is that the carriers would not consider any parcel(s) as lost until this time frame has elapsed, then the parcel will be deemed as lost.

Example of delays: adverse weather / sent to the incorrect sorting office and then redirected. You must notify us of a lost parcel within 28 days from dispatch, or we will be unable to claim for loss of the item(s) from our carriers and therefore unable to replace your goods.

16) Prices, offers and items available on the Website are always subject to change.

If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible by email and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling the order altogether. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.


Note. Worldwide delivery’s, we cannot guarantee delivery times, although we will dispatch your order to the appropriate country United Kingdom, or internationally as fast as possible. In the unlikely event of any Union strikes or flight delays also any Custom checks or confiscations, which are beyond our control and acts of God, unfortunately we can take no responsibility.

and we accept no responsibility for the content or accuracy of such adverts nor do we make any guarantee of the contents of this site in respect of the existence or availability of anything advertised whatsoever.

2)  Those advertisers are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the site complies with all legal requirements,

although acceptance of advertisements on the site is subject to our discretion, we do not accept liability in respect of any advertisements.

3)  The seller is responsible for gaining any photographers approval prior to forwarding photographs to PET-CO to use on the web site.

We cannot be held responsible for any issues arising due to copyright protection on photographs.

All photographs used on the web site must have the prior consent of the photographer.

4)  We accept adverts at our own discretion. PET-CO has a right to reject any adverts if feels does not comply with the terms and conditions of advertising.

We do not have to justify our reasoning for the rejection of any adverts. Including but not exclusively: Selling retail goods, directly or indirectly.

5)  No Ads / web site links will be accepted if the web site being linked to is a competitor to PET-CO in any way.

If the web site being linked to offers, accepts, promotes or is associated with selling retail products from third party advertisers the web site link will be rejected.

6)  No duplicate ads.

7)  We can modify Ads including but not exclusively, wording, or descriptions within the advertisement, to meet our requirements.


Note: We think animal welfare is very important, so if you’re thinking of purchasing a new Cat / Dog / Horse or Pony, please remember they can live for many years,

they will need care and companionship, access to regular water / food & grooming, regular veterinary care.
